Bioionix is Building a Robust Engineering Department
The Innovative Technology Platform Company Welcomes Three New Hires
Bioionix, Inc., headquartered in McFarland, WI, USA, is a technology platform company that develops, manufactures and distributes proprietary electrolytic systems to eliminate pathogens and other microbials from water. With the sustainability movement in the food industry, Bioionix is expanding its team, installing more systems and gaining recognition for its effective, flexible and chemical free revolutionary disinfection system, helping companies around the world use better, use less and use again. The expansion of the engineering department is a result of the demand for more unique food plant system solutions as well as the continuous innovation mindset to help the food industry eliminate the threat of recall, reduce waste and save money.
Bioionix’s Engineering Department is proud to welcome Kyle Staack, Application Engineer. Kyle recently joined the team, coming from Hutchinson Technology, a global company committed to quality products and services. With Kyle’s specialty in piping and liquid flow, he’ll support custom solution development as well as support our continuous innovation and R&D.
A new Mechanical Electrical Engineer on the Bioionix Engineering Team, Ryan Karns, has a priority focus on electrical PLC programming to ensure proper integration of the Bioionix disinfection system with the manufacturing control panels. Our system can read and adjust to make the manufacturing process more efficient. Before Bioionix, Ryan worked at Ipsen USA.
The newest addition to the team is Jason Riehl, Application Engineer. Jason’s customer-centric background matches the mission to relentlessly improve the customer product experience. Jason is also focused on our new applications for seawater chemistry. Our systems can use seawater for seafood manufacturing for sustainability efforts. Jason comes to Bioionix from ASI, Advance Systems where he oversaw the department, ensuring projects were defined and delivered in a timely manner.
“We’re excited to have Kyle, Ryan and Jason join our growing family. They add a great positive spirit to our culture,” states John Van Arsdale Director Sales & Marketing. “Our whole team is working together and focused on innovating product performance and the customer product experience.” Look for more new faces joining this innovative, sustainability, and solution-focused global company.

About Bioionix, Inc. –
www.bioionix.com Bioionix, Inc., headquartered in McFarland, WI, USA, is a technology platform company that develops, manufactures and distributes proprietary electrolytic systems to eliminate pathogens and other microbials from water. In the area of seawater treatment, the company has developed a breakthrough for water microbial safety and reuse without chemicals which can affect taste, safety and quality. The Bioionix system uses specialized catalysts to directly disinfect water, brine and turbid processing liquids by generating a powerful combination of reactive oxygen and activated chlorine species directly from the liquid itself. These Bioionix SuperOxidants™ attack microbials by complementary methods of action, including direct DNA destruction, cytoplasm impairment, and cell wall disruption. Other SuperOxidants™ provide powerful residual disinfection throughout the processing systems.
